Day 3 (Tuesday) The Cultural Heritage Center - Arusha

Following our tour of the streets of Arusha we took a guided bus trip to the Cultural Heritage Center of Arusha.  This is without a doubt the most complete collection of Tanzania and African art, paintings, carvings, and beautiful objects of art.  There were pieces of wood carving they call the 'tree of life' that are the tallest in the world.  Once piece took the artist over 30 years to complete.  These pictures do not do justice to the artistic culture we viewed today.
