Day 6 (Friday) Arusha Hotel

The Arusha Hotel has been absolutely a great place to stay since our arrival in Tanzania.  The staff are very friendly and accomadating.  The hotel compound during our stay has been well protected by armed police guards.  The gates are watchedand closed to keep the locals from coming in.  Especially the ones that 'hound' us with their suvenires or local art work to sell us.  It is not safe for us to travel outside by ourselves in the evening.  We have ventured outside for stamps at the Post Office or the super market across the street.  The post office also double as an "internet cafe".  When Jeff and I ventured out we saw at least 20 people huddled around one old computer.....that was the cafe!
