It's Friday already. Man has this week rolled by. Never wanting to wish away time so it comes to game time on Saturday but Patrick has had us so busy that the days have just rolled by. A couple of observations, the four of us from Pennsylvania have been good friends before this trip, are now very close and have been touched by an event bigger than we could have ever imagined and will be connected for life by this event. This crew has really come together by not only rules and game mechanics but by chemistry. Alex and Mario fit right in, or maybe better stated we fit into their worlds. Alex got to celebrate his birthday over two days. We got to see Mario's personality come out when he is around kids. He brought a knapsack full of bubble gum and candy and takes great pleasure handing it out to these amazing kids. The most amazing conductor of this whole week has been our crew chief Bill LeMonnier. He is a teacher and administrator by profession and it shows each and every day, MANY times each day. Bill teaches, demonstrates, illustrates, all by telling us a story from the thousands that he has to make his point. What a real honor and privilege it has been for us these last 6 days to be tutored by one of the top official in any sport. Bill is a true Ambassador to the game of American football.
