None of us have EVER been on a Safari before....well Great Adventure or Bush Gardens don't even come close! Our two hour ride to Tanzania's larged protected game land was very exciting. We travel in a couple Land Rover safari vehicles with an experienced tour guide driving, We ad his complete undevided attention as we traveled. We had a ton of questions and really hoped we would have a good day and at least see some elephants, zebras, monkeys, and lions to mention our top four. I took nearly 200 photos of animals that we as close as 15 feet away to ones maybe 200 yards downrange and off the restricted paths. We wre simply blown away by what we saw and the numbers, large numbers of animals with the exception of the lions and tigers. The guide said that because the range grass was long after the rainy season, that they were lying down but we were not able to see them. We saw 15 - 20 foot tall termite mounds. We saw trees that had nearly 200 - 300 foot circumfrances!
